Regarded as the head of cruise family in Heritage Line, Jayavarman Cruise is an imposing boat whose name originated from the name of the most respected ruler of Angkor in the period between 1181 and 1218. He, a pious Buddhist, supervised the building of many well-known Angkor temples such as the impressive Bayon, Phreah Khan and Ta Prohm.

Jayavarman Cruise is designed with the inspiration from the creative Khmer art and the tranquility as well as the effect of the French Normandie passenger ship set afloat in the year 1935. This boat will take tourists from My Tho which, is located close to Sai Gon to Siem Reap to explore the Mekong. It is the combination between the Indochina’s romance and the appeal of French artistic décor in the 1930’s. From the prow to the rear, it is 57.8m high with 27 graceful adorned cabins.

The boat trip is imposing with the similarity to an art exhibition on the water because of its Vietnamese lacquered picture, Khmer carving and complicated wooden sculpture that brings to the mind of tourists a sense of indigenous culture and art.

Jayavarman Cruise ship is extremely charming and large with 3 and a half of decks where tourists have a chance to visit a bar named Club 1930, contemplate the relics of Khmer in Henry Mouhot Lounge, relax by enjoying spa service of Apsara Spa and relish stunning food at a graceful dining hall named Indochina. Tourists can also have the panoramic look to the plains from the massage-bath on the top of the open deck.

Mekong delta is famous not only for the tranquility but also for the hospitable native people.
